History[]
Freya Genarik was an Arkanian mathematician and senator in the waning years of the Old Republic. She was the member of the noble House of Genarik, closely tied to the ruling House of Adasca. Freya is accredited with proving The Incompleteness theorem belonging to the mathematical field of topology, thus solving the enigma puzzling mathematicians for centuries. Genarik was also student of Daggibus Scoritoles, a Givin senator and prominent mathematician teaching as visiting professor at University of Coruscant. Vain and egocentric, she fit well into the stereotype of the Arkanian race.
Childhood[]
From early childhood, Freya was showed aptness in music. She began playing the mandoviol at the tender age of four, composed her first piece at seven and had her first concert at the age of nine. Her parents then sent her to a boarding school on Coruscant, hoping she would eventually enrol in Coruscant School of Music. Despite her talent, she was not admitted to the programme, mainly due to doubtful selection criteria of the evaluation committee. The committee chair - a human professor of solfeggio called Yoran Tyoph - was an undercover racist supporting speciesism, who would eventually become an open sympathizer of the Empire just before the final fall of the Republic. Freya returned to Arkania in tears, never playing her instrument in public again.
