Biography[]
Sanne's real name is not Sanne, but being half Firrerreo, she does not like to give it out, especially after the betrayal. Sanne grew up on a colony world in the Outer Rim. When she was young, her father was called back to the D'Rathe homeworld to help the society rebuild itself after a rebellion. Her mother was devastated and forbade Sanne to ever go searching for him. She spent the next few years resenting her mother and eventually ran away from home.
She made it to Euceron, where she met an eccentric man named Jothan, and he took her in. He was an assassin by trade, and was a Force-Sensitive. He said he was going to try and find a teacher, someone who could teach him the ways of the Force. Sanne agreed, and on their travels, they realized they had feelings for one another. The affair was quick, because as soon as Jothan found his teacher, he was told he must kill Sanne to achieve his full potential. He was given the Master's sword to do the job.
Sanne met Jothan the day after where he revealed what he must do. He stabbed her straight through the side, his hesitation making him miss her heart and stomach. Sanne was left to die as he continued his journey. Sanne was found by a woman named Liti Wumper. Liti Wumper, affectionately dubbed Nanny, rescued her and healed most of her wounds. Sanne spent a full year recovering, and her nervous system was still damaged. She spent a month in a coma as her body tried to heal, and would have died if she hadn't been found by Liti.
Liti then promised to take her to the Jedi where she could be properly healed and learn the path to Light.
Sanne still feels conflicted with her feeling towards Jothan, and wonders if the Light is really her path. She hopes to make her path clearer as she learns
D'Rathe Species[]
Sanne is half Firrerreo, and half D'Rathe:
Biology: Many members of this race are tall, lanky creatures, with overly pale skin and brightly colored eyes. Their skin is tough and rather translucent. They have a longer-life span than Humans, living to approximately 200 years of age. Their long lifespan is hindered by a long growth period of about thirty years before they reach adolescence. They reach adulthood at around forty years and their growth continues at a slow pace. The highly force-sensitive individuals live longer, but it was only found in some cases.
The D'rathe have more joints in the hands and legs than the regular humanoids In the galaxy, allowing for a bit more flexibility and odd walk that tends to be more stiff to fit in with the mainly human population of the galaxy. They have a second set of vocal chords that are used mainly to create sound waves that translate to brain waves and act as telepathic thoughts that are perceived as both thought and sound by other species. All of ther bodily systems are interdependent, and many will die from wounds not usually found threatening in some cases. Half-breed's systems are usually less interconnected and can survive their share of injuries, though damage runs throughout the systems, and takes longer to heal.
They are extremely Force-Sensitive, able to learn to goings on of other cultures and worlds far away from their home. This sensitivity impacts all of their being, and sometimes handicaps them beyond repair if it is not properly controlled. They place limitations on what can be done with the Force on their world, sometimes using devices to limit their sensitivity if needed.
Culture: D'rathe spend their lives until adolescence on the D'rathe home world on the edge of the Outer Rim, secluded from many other species. When they reach adulthood they re sent on a journey to explore the galaxy before deciding if they wish to live on the home world or act as a nomad between their world and the rest of the galaxy. They are rarely seen around the galaxy, many wishing to stay on their home world. They find other species interesting, but not worth their time usually, preferring their homes and own people. It is not totally uncommon to find cross-species children when the nomads settle on another planet with another species, and they are fiercely loyal to their children and mate, D'rathe consider family and loyalty above all others.
They are usually very Force-Sensitive, but most do not bother themselves with becoming Jedi or Sith, though few have been known to pick a side. Cross-bred children have force sensitivities like true D'rathe, though less of it, though they do get feelings and visions at various stages in their growth. Most of the D'rathe Jedi or Sith were not full-blooded D'rathe, but rather half-D'rathe.
Present: The D'rathe at the present are dealing with the after affects of a war with a nearby war between two species that devastated their world. Many D'rathe fought to protect their home which was in dispute being between the two sides. They have closed many of their trading and shipping ports and are trying to build their culture back up again. Most D'rathe have been called back to their homes, either with or without their families, some torn between the two. Rebellions from this calling back have further disrupted their society, though it is lessening with time.
