Background[]
Born to Xando and Sevrina Aka'Rath, she spent most of his life abaord his mothers YT-1300 freighter as she ran her smuggling missions, and also picked up Xando when he was done with a bounty. She spent most of her time with her older brother, Zayne, and his grandfather Gaeton.
Her grandfather helped teach both of them the basics of combat, saying that all children should learn such as the galaxy is a tough place. He also gave them a crash course in piloting (almost literally a few times) and taught them a few of the he knew from his years as a mercenary.
Around the age of 17, her father was killed by Jedi when he was working for a crime lord who was suspected of having strong links to the Imperial Remnant. It was at this time that Zayne showed the possibility of being force sensitive, as he sensed his fathers death from afar before the rest of the family learned of it.
Shortly before their arrival on Munto Codru, Gaeton handed over to her a HK-77 droid that he had been rebuilding.
After dropping Zayne off on Munto Codru, Nayva left her home aboard her mothers freighter, hoping to become a skilled Bounty Hunter and carve her own place of infamy into the galaxy.
